It is good to be hard working. However, there is also the known danger of being a work alcoholic. In fact today there are cultures where people are working so hard at the expense of relationships. Through hard work they have been able to accomplish almost anything but usually at the expense of their families.

Working hard is good for it helps produce food on the table. But it is healthy and quite important for us all to know how to strike a balance. More so, when working hard at something, not to end up inflated that it all depends on us. It is most important for every one of us to realize it is God alone who enables us to produce any wealth.

Prayer for today: Lord Father in heaven, today I pray that you help me know how and when to strike a balance with my work and serving you.
