We are a faith based nonprofit organization head quartered in the East African nation of Uganda devoted to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ through publications and videos particularly in the digital medium.

Our history goes back to 1988 when Dr. Kenneth O. Lapenga (RIP), a professor of veterinary medicine and Christian author, teamed up with Dr. Martin M. Lwanga after his graduation from Makerere University. Together they started Sonrise Foundation with a mission to provide publications where African writers would share their faith in Jesus. The book market was and is still dominated by foreign authors whose context many may not relate with. Sonrise Foundation started off by publishing Sonrise Magazine.

In 1996 Dr. Martin Lwanga having completed his studies in the US teamed up with partners to found African Christian Outreach. Since then we have helped launch an FM station (104.1 Power FM), with Kampala churches, and now run by Watoto Church. We have consistently been publishing the Christian Post magazine (now Shakers & Movers), Devotionals, Tracts and Christian literature. In addition we also helped the formation of Christian Writers Association which brings together writers with a purpose to communicate the gospel of Jesus through various literature

Owing to developments in technology we have moved most of our products into digital formats under the brand of African Christian Digital Christian Communications. We share the gospel of Jesus Christ through digital and other relevant mediums that appeal and touch mainly the youth, who are our main focus, and form the majority of our target market.
