"For where two or three gathered in my name, there I am with them” - Mat 18:20 (NIV)

When the lockdown started not only did it disrupt the habits of many people, but also the prayer life of some. There are many who used to congregate for corporate prayers but now found themselves restricted in their movements, no longer having and enjoying the freedom of meeting their beloved prayer partners in person.

Fortunately around us are nowadays many tools that cater for long distance communication. Besides the phone we have new meeting tools like Zoom that have enabled even prayers meetings to continue.

There is indeed power when believers meet not just to fellowship as we are commanded (Heb 10:25), but also to pray with each other. If we can’t meet physically as has been the case for obvious reason at least let us call up one another, just to pray.

The Lord will be listening between us!

Prayer for today: Lord Father in heaven, today I pray in the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, that in spite of the circumstances I always seek out to pray with other believers for then you are in our midst.
