Miracles were very much a part of the ministry of Jesus. In fact his public ministry started in a small village called Cana when he turned six water jars of water into wine (John 2:1-11). Later we see multiple miracles. There is the feeding of the five thousand crowd with 10 loaves of bread and two fish (Mathew 14: 13-21). In another instance Jesus helped his disciples catch fish miraculously (John 21).

The miracles that Jesus wrought still continue in our lives. Our life is in itself a miracle event. Everyday we live is a miracle. And there are also those moments when we seem quite powerless and there comes the hand of God to our rescue. Who has not experienced that!

As believers we should never count miracles out of our lives. Every living day is a miracle and witness that our God can do amazing things beyond our imaginations.

Prayer for today: Lord Father in heaven today I pray in the loving name of Jesus that I am ever thankful for the miracle of life!
