Think of going out for any journey where you have no idea how it will end. Scary. But how about if you knew someone who knew the very end was going to walk with you all the way. Gratifying. Comforting.

When we set out on a Christian journey as followers of Christ we have the delightful knowledge that we are assured of not only reaching well but victory is on our side. We walk with one who knows the way and purposes us to succeed. Trouble is so often we ignore and chose to carry on with our minds. Only to end in disaster.

This is why it matters to commit all our plans to the Lord! We are already assured that the Lord’s plans are for us to prosper us, not to harm us! How do you ignore such a free offer! Commit your plans to the Lord’s leadership and all will be well.

Prayer for today: Lord Father in heaven, today, as the year begins I commit unto you all of my plans that you guide me to success.
