“Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air” - I Cor 9:26 (NIV).
If you follow motor racing, as I do, one of the beauties about it is that as much as the cars are speeding there are headed in a certain direction. There are in a race and their pace is about winning. The drivers are all eyeing ahead fully concentrated on winning. There are busy driving and with s clear goal.
This is important because it is so very easy for one to be busy in life without any direction. Although life is running at full throttle it is like the wind leading to know where. A driver like a reckless teen excited by the machine in his hand pressing hard and flying to nowhere. Till a crush!
In life we need not just to be speeding. You can run your life at full speed. But it is important to be clear of which direction you are headed. For believers that is the treasures of eternal life through faith in Christ. By being clear of this purpose it means that our speed is for a purpose. Not just a rush of adrenalin. Be busy but with a purpose.

Prayer for today: Lord Father in heaven, today I pray that where I am busy my life has a purpose!
