“There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus” - Gal 3:28 (NIV).

One of the most beautiful aspect of our Christian faith is diversity. When we receive Christ we become one regardless of our backgrounds. This is what makes us a unique body!

I recall on my first journey out of Uganda. This was in the US. There I got to know of a fellowship from a church I had started attending which was meeting in my apartment block. I eagerly joined. The people I met there it was the first time. We all came from many nations, not just the US. Though we had all different backgrounds once we started going over Scripture, singing and praising God we were all one. You could not recognize any difference.

Indeed that is how it will be when we meet in heaven. From all our individual backgrounds we shall bow down and worship God the creator as one people.
