We are a faith based nonprofit organization head quartered in the East African nation of Uganda devoted to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ through publications and videos particularly in the digital medium.
Our history goes back to 1988 when Dr. Kenneth O. Lapenga (RIP), a professor of veterinary medicine and Christian author, teamed up with Dr. Martin M. Lwanga after his graduation from Makerere University. Together they started Sonrise Foundation with a mission to provide publications where African writers would share their faith in Jesus.
