"For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus" (Gal 3:26)

There are certain ivy league universities or blue chip companies if you join them you have arrived! For example, students of Oxford or Harvard University; staff of Meta or Amazon company, walk about with a certain sense of pride for being part of the "le creme da la creme"- the best of the best!

Closer home it is not by any surprise why someone occasionally bumps into cars bearing stickers of famous schools. Long having left these schools the alumni share their connection with a badge of honour!

But do you see the same happening too with children of God! Humility aside; a child of God is a special citizen on this earth! For we have "been bought with the precious blood of Christ’s death"  (I Peter 1:19). A child of God has all "his sins forgiven and cleansed from all unrighteousness" (I John 1:9). He has a "the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return..."  (2 Tim 4:8).

When you have gathered in all this shouldn't you as a child of God walk with a certain spring in your walk too! Shouldn't you exhibit a certain joy and confidence which the world cannot comprehend! For after all as a child of God you know Christ has said, "I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you" (Luke 10:19).

So, today, if there is anyone who has the right to walk with a certain spring and share a certain joyful smile, no matter what, it is you the child of God!

Prayer today: Lord Father God of Abraham, maker of heaven and earth, what a privilege to know I am a child of God created in your image with a great future, because of faith in Jesus, for which I am thankful, this I pray in Jesus’s name.
