“Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing” - Hebrews 13:2 (NIV)

A story is told of a certain couple who once visited the famous Harvard University. The couple who were rather casually dressed were asked for an appointment and they had none! They sat waiting. But the President had other weighing matters and could not spare the time to see them. Soon they left discouraged.

So the couple moved to another university- Stanford. There they could see the President in a moment. After, they gave out a huge donation. Stanford University is now a major rival of Harvard University.

Sometimes this is the case when people visit our fellowships. We ignore them more so based on their attire. They move to other fellowships and are a blessing to them. Or even in personal relationships. How often have we discounted people based on their looks who could have been a great blessing to us! Watch out. You never know whom the Lord has sent to visit with you!

Prayer for today: Lord Father in heaven, today I pray that I am always sensitive to your angels who come to visit sometimes in unexpected ways.
