"The LORD directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives" ( Psalm 37:23)

A snare is described as a trap for catching birds or animals typically made of intersecting cords of strings or wires. After it has been woven it is then placed in the way of others and quite concealed. The unsuspecting then steps forth only to be swallowed up.

There is one thing about a snare- for it to be effective and catch its prey it must be made to look normal, otherwise one might be alerted and take a detour. And while there are snares laid all over to trap us, we all can escape such. Proverbs 16:3 says, "Commit your actions to the LORD, and your plans will succeed.." The essence here is that when we walk with the Lord he can alert us of any snare ahead and save us from danger.

Today, let us commit all our plans to the Lord and he will direct all our steps in every detail. He will save us from the danger that lie ahead with everything that looks normal but only a dangerous snare, we must avoid!

Prayer today: Lord Father God of Abraham, maker of heaven and earth, today I commit to you all my steps that you may save me from any danger and lead me to the victory I desire, this I pray in Jesus name!
