“Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things. I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness” - Mat 25:22 (NIV)

The parable of talents is an old story about a rich man who left talents with his three servants. He returned to find that while the ones left with five and two talents had put them to work yielding fruit the one who was given the least had merely sat on his. This servant blamed his lack of investment on his master’s attitude towards him whom he accused of trying to take advantage of him.

The master was not pleased. “Take the talent from him and give it to the one who has ten talents. For everyone who has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have even what he has will be taken from him” (Mat 25:28-29)

So where are you in this story! Every one of us has talent but some choose to sit on them because they feel there are owed a lot more. However, some other than dwelling into self-pity, make the best of what they have and yield great fruit. These are added on more

Prayer for today: Lord Father in heaven, I am thankful for all the multiple talents you have given me and may I today put them to good use.
